Beyza's Temple, Sredzkistraße 44, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
Did you know that St. Nicholas was living in Myra at the Lycian Coast and that there’s a „Mother Mary’s House“ in Ephesus, West-Anatolia? Anatolia (today's Turkey) was always a melting pot of different ethnic groups, cultures and beliefs.
We want to celebrate the diversity of cultures with you during our „Noël Baba Bazaar“ at Beyza’s Temple.
Come around and have some Turkish çay or mocca and soak in the good energy of the warm and bright colors, of the ancient symbols and the hospitality of our team.
For us this is what Christmas is about!
Feeling and sharing the love. No matter where you are coming from, no matter what your belief is.
Or In Rumi's words:
“Come, come, whoever you are,
wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving,
it doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow a hundred times.
Come, come again, come.”
Welcome and hoşgeldiniz!
Beyza Nur & team
PS: In December we also offer different kind of events like "Rumis Wedding night". This will be an evening dedicated to the great Sufi mystic and poet Mevlana Jalâluddîn Rûmî. To honor him and his work we will recite verses from the Masnavi, have whirling dervishes, Sufi musicians, guided meditation and delicious Turkish food in the Temple.
